Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are headed down the aisle. The power couple announced on Tuesday that they are engaged. Now social media is buzzing.

"Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!" Shelton wrote in a tweet that featured a photo of the pair kissing. In the image, Stefani is showing off her engagement ring.

The No Doubt singer-songwriter also took to social media to share the news.

"@blakeshelton yes please!" she captioned the same image on Instagram.

Fans and celebrities could not contain their excitement as they rushed to congratulate the couple.

"This shot is bananas. Congratulations!" Ellen DeGeneres replied to the news via her talk show's Instagram account.

"Congratulations," Jimmy Fallon commented on Stefani's post.

"AMAZING!" John Legend added. "Congratulations to you both!"

Alicia Keys also congratulated the couple.

"Awwww babes!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!" she wrote.

Shelton and Stefani got to know each other while appearing as vocal coaches on the set of "The Voice" in 2014. At the time, they were both married to other people, but both their relationships came to an end in 2015, the same year they began dating.

Shelton was married to his second wife, Miranda Lambert. The former couple announced their divorce in a statement explaining that it was not a future they had envisioned.

"It is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately," they wrote. "We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends, and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

Meanwhile, Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares sons Kingston, Apollo, and Zuma. In 2015, they also announced their split in a statement.

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," the couple wrote. "To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
