A black comedian demanded free coffee from Starbucks, citing "reparations" in a prank that makes light of the arrests that took place at a Philadelphia branch last week.

Bryan Sharpe, a comedian and author also known as "Hotep Jesus," walked into a different branch and launched his antics on an employee named Amanda, The Daily Mail reported.

"I heard y'all are racist, so I came to get my free coffee," he is heard saying in a video appearing on YouTube.

"I saw that," the employee responds.

Fake coupons emerged on social media promising free beverages to "people of color" and "African American heritage," according to reports.

In the video, Amanda sets about making the coffee while they chat about the Philadelphia incident, in which two black men were arrested after an employee called the police when they refused to leave.

That incident took place last Thursday when 23-year-old entrepreneurs Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson were sitting at the Philly branch waiting for a business meeting to start, The Associated Press reported.

When the two were approached at their table and asked if they needed help, the two politely declined, explaining that they were waiting for others to join them.

Minutes later police walked in to the coffee shop and arrested both men.

A video of the arrests went viral on social media, prompting public outrage and leading Starbucks to release an apology and intentions to close over 8,000 of its U.S. stores on May 29 to "conduct racial-bias education geared toward preventing discrimination."

While all this was going on, Sharpe was pranking employees at his local Starbucks.

As Amanda put the finishing touches to his coffee, Sharpe asked for whole milk, and caramel flavoring, asserting "reparations for being black in America," according to The Daily Mail.

The video was uploaded Wednesday and as of Thursday morning was viewed over 22,976 times and been shared all over social media.

"Black privilege gets me free coffee," Sharpe later tweeted. "I love racism. Only in America."
