Billie Eilish fans pleaded with the teenage musician on Twitter this week after she announced that tickets for her 2020 world tour would be refunded rather than delay the dates, Fox News reports.
“Hi guys, i wish that I could have seen you on tour this year. i've missed performing for you and being onstage so much i can’t even tell you,” Eilish wrote in a statement on Twitter Thursday.
“We’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible and, although i know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can. Keep an eye on your email for more info from your point of purchase,” she said, “and when we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour.”
Fans then begged the singer-songwriter to allow their tickets to remain valid for her next tour.
“Please god no, it was so so hard to even get a ticket for my partner and they’ve been waiting years to see you. is there any way we can just hold on to our ticket at all?” asked one fan, according to Fox.
“i feel you :( i worked my a-- off to get tickets and i didn’t even make half of what i paid for my tickets at the time, you’re not alone here. i’m so sorry this happened :(.” Another wrote.
