Bill Cosby Jokes to Woman at Show: 'Be Careful About Drinking Around Me'

Bill Cosby joked about the drugging rape allegations against him during a comedy show in Canada this week, reportedly telling one woman in the audience, "You have to be careful about drinking around me."

The embattled comedian made the off-the-cuff comment during his second performance in London, Ontario, on Thursday, The Guardian U.K. reported. Over the last few months, more than 15 women have come forward and accused the 77-year-old of sexual assault, with many claiming they were drugged beforehand.

During his performance, Cosby asked a woman where she was going as she stood up from one of the front-row seats. The woman answered and said she was going to lobby to purchase a drink, which led to Cosby's comment, The Guardian noted.

The exchange was captured by National Post writer Richard Warnica, who reported it via Twitter.

Moments later, security at the show removed a man who began shouting at Cosby, calling him a rapist.

"We don't love you," the man continued to yell as security took him away, CBC News reported.

The comedian later issued a statement about the disturbance through his publicist, according to The Associated Press

"Dear Fans: One outburst but over 2,600 loyal, patient, and courageous fans enjoyed the most wonderful medicine that exist for human-kind. Laughter. I thank you, the theater staff (Budweiser Gardens), the event organizers, and the London, ON, community for your continued honor and support. I'm far from finished," the statement read.
