By    |   Monday, 23 May 2011 04:28 PM EDT

While most of Washington is focused on which Republicans will run for president next year, Vice President Joe Biden already is making noise about running in 2016, Politico reports.

Joe Biden, 2016, presidentHe broached the possibility unprompted during a dinner conversation Thursday with heavyweight Democratic donors, a source who was present told the news service. Biden said he hasn’t decided what he’ll do in 2016. Political conditions and his health will help dictate the decision, the 68-year-old VP said.

Other Democrats thought to be contemplating a presidential campaign in 2016 include New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner.

Obviously Biden’s entrance into the race could be a game changer. His spokeswoman declined to comment.
