Beyonce has dropped out of Coachella 2017, after her doctors advised her to ease up on her schedule.

The pop star, who ignited the Instagram community earlier this month when she announced she was pregnant with twins, has opted not to headline at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which is set for April in Indio, California, according to the Los Angeles Times.

She will be headlining at the show next year instead.

Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment and festival promoter Goldenvoice issued a statement, according to The Associated Press.

"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival," the statement said. "However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."

It's not clear who will be performing in her place, but artists like Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar are set to headline this year.

If Beyonce would have performed this year, it would have been her first time performing at Coachella. She would have also been the first female act to headline at the festival since 2007.

This comes after Beyonce performed at this year's Grammy Awards show, where she won two awards for her most recent album, "Lemonade," the AP noted.

Beyonce, 35, gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, in 2012.

Coachella 2017 will feature other performers, including Lorde, the xx, Bon Iver, Future, Gucci Mane, Justice, DJ Snake, DJ Khaled and Father John Misty.

There will be performances from April 14-16 and April 21-23.
