In the video, Charlie grabs a rattling toy away from baby Laura, who begins to cry. The dog then gathers toys from around the house and piles them on the baby. At one point he pushes a box of toys over to her and begins to give them to her.

Story continues below video.

Charlie’s owner, who speaks Polish, posted on Facebook to respond to criticism from people who thought the dog was responding to commands.

“Here is some short video from that day, to proof people we don't force him to do what he is doing, it wasn't planned or staged, I just wanted to record my Laura and Charlie how they play fetch for a first time,” he wrote.

Twitter users adore the video.
