Barry Williams, aka Greg Brady, Says Ann B. Davis Was 'Great Friend'

Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady on "The Brady Bunch," remembered Ann B. Davis, perhaps better known as Alice, the Bradys' housekeeper, after the actress' untimely death Sunday.

Williams called Davis, whom he starred with on the 1970s hit sitcom, told "Today" she was a "wonderful woman" and a "great friend." He might have broken a few hearts though by claiming Davis wasn't as kitchen-savvy as her onscreen persona.

"Most people think of her as a really wonderful cook, but she didn't even know how to make meatloaf!" Williams said, adding that Davis was always a professional and doled out discipline to him and his "Brady Bunch" cast mates.

Davis, 88, reportedly fell in the bathroom on Sunday of the home she was sharing with a Texas couple and never regained consciousness. She was said to be in good health despite her age.

Florence Henderson, who played mom Carol Brady, tweeted on Sunday that she was “shocked and saddened” to hear of Davis’ death.

Davis had an accomplished acting career prior to joining the "Brady Bunch" cast, including having won two Emmys for supporting comedy actress for her role as Shultzy in the 1960s romantic comedy “The Bob Cummings Show.”

Members of Davis' church are reportedly planning her funeral services.
