More than 160 statewide ballot measures are being put to the people in 35 states on Tuesday, according to Ballotpedia. They range from marijuana legalization and minimum wage, to healthcare and whether porn stars should wear condoms.

1. Marijuana — Nine states will decide on legalizing or decriminalizing marijuana. The most-watched ballot will likely be California's Proposition 64 for marijuana legalization, as it affects the largest population and the result will spark a lot of discussion for and against. Other states seeking to legalize or decriminalize medical or recreational marijuana are: Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, and North Dakota.

2. Gun control — Firearms measures are on the ballot in four states, according to Ballotpedia. California’s gun control proposition could lead to a ban on large-capacity ammunition magazines and could also require background checks for ammunition purchases. Voters in Maine, Nevada and Washington will also face background-related ballot questions related to firearms purchases.

3. Minimum wage — Voters in five states — Arizona, Colorado, Maine, South Dakota, and Washington — will decide minimum wage law. While most issues on the ballot involve increasing the minimum wage, South Dakota residents will vote on a veto referendum to decrease the minimum wage for minors, Ballotpedia noted.

4. Healthcare — A handful of healthcare initiatives will appear on the ballot Tuesday, including Colorado Amendment 69, which would create the nation’s first single-player healthcare system. California boasts two healthcare measures — one aimed at regulating drug prices and another having to do with how hospital fees are dedicated. Other healthcare measures are on the ballot in Nevada and Washington.

5. Plastic bags — The California Plastic Bag Ban Veto Referendum would prohibit grocery stores and pharmacies from providing customers with plastic single-use carryout bags, and would allow stores to charge 10 cents for recycled grocery bags, according to Ballotpedia. If approved, California would become the first state with this ban.

6. Condoms in porn — California's Proposition 60, the Condoms in Pornographic Films Initiative, would require adult film producers to provide condoms for their performers while they're engaging in intercourse. It would also require producers to "pay for certain health requirements and checkups."

7. Tobacco tax — Tobacco tax measures on the ballot in multiple states could lead to increases for more than 50 million Americans. States include California, Colorado, Missouri, and others.

8. Death penalty — California's Proposition 62 seeks to repeal the death penalty. Other death penalty measures are also up for vote in Nebraska and Oklahoma.

9. Assisted deathColorado's Proposition 106 seeks to make assisted death legal under certain circumstances, according to Ballotpedia.
