Angela Coates broke the law, and now she's breaking hearts as her hot mugshot continues to go viral across social media sites, with thousands pledging their love for the "Prison Babe."
According to The Huffington Post, Coates, 22, is a former Jet magazine "Beauty of the Week," but was booked for disorderly conduct in DeKalb County, Georgia, on Aug. 26, and released the same day.
Coates recently
sat down with Inside Edition, saying it felt strange to have become an Internet sensation. "I'm the female Jeremy Meeks," she pondered, referring to the 'Hot Felon' whose mugshot went viral in June.

Unlike his mugshot, which took off after the Stockton Police Department posted it to its official Facebook page, Coates' mugshot seemed to have been taken from GeorgiaArrests.org, a public records database, and spread primarily via Twitter.
Coates took to her own Twitter profile this week to respond to her mugshot being sensationalized, and her comments seem to indicate she wasn't too happy to be in the spotlight.
She also seemed to say she was wrongfully arrested by an overzealous police officer, however the details of her "disorderly conduct" and reasons for why she was arrested remain unknown.
Unlike Jeremy Meeks, who was offered a modeling contract after his mugshot took off, Coates appears to be a model by trade. She works nightclubs, and updates her Instagram profile with glamour shots on the regular.
