Seventeen percent (17%) of Republican adults have
kissed at least 50 people. That’s slightly higher than the 14 percent of Democrats and 16 percent of independents who claim such variety.
This data from a YouGov survey may, however, primarily reflect the fact that Republicans on average tend to be older than Democrats or independents. As might be expected with the aging process, those with more years under their belt have also kissed more people. In fact, the data shows that 19 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds have never been kissed.
Overall, 15 percent of American adults have kissed 50 or more people. The YouGov survey reports that 11 percent have kissed between 21 and 50 people, 29 percent have kissed between 5 and 20 others, and 22 percent have kissed fewer than five people. Twenty-three percent (23%) either didn’t know or didn’t want to say.
