Twelve percent of Americans say it is completely accurate to describe them as culture warriors, according to a report from the American Culture and Faith Institute.[1]
The data shows that 22 percent of liberals see themselves as culture warriors along with 10 percent of conservatives and 9 percent of moderates.
On a partisan basis, 17 percent of Democrats are culture warriors. So are 13 percent of Republicans and 11 percent of independents.
As with most things, there are differences of degree in how people respond.
While only 12 percent of all adults say it is completely accurate to call them a culture warrior, another 31 percent say it’s mostly accurate.
On the other side of the coin, 19 percent say it is completely wrong to consider them a culture warrior. Another 38 percent say such a description is mostly wrong.
