July 13, 2023: Forty-three percent (43%) of voters say America’s best days are still to come. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 34% say they have come and gone, and 24% are not sure. These numbers have remained unchanged over the past 18 months.
The survey also found that 46% think America is the last best hope of mankind. Twenty-five percent (25%) say it is not, and 29% are unsure.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on June 26-27, 2023. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the -sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of registered voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population.
The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
