Cheney Leaves Hospital

It was a "precautionary" procedure, said President Bush. No evidence of a heart attack, said doctors. For Cheney, the cardiac catheterization was a repeat procedure to open the same clogged artery that gave him trouble several months ago.

Doctors say there's a 40 percent chance that the condition will recur.

Cheney, recognizing the symptoms, checked into George Washington University Medical Center Monday afternoon, before any further heart damage occurred. He has suffered four heart attacks since 1978. He is expected to resume his normal work schedule in a matter of days.
