Gore attorney David Boies said, "Whoever wins the Florida Supreme Court, we will accept that," Agence France-Presse reported.
"We are looking forward to having the decision as promptly as possible."
Now that Leon Circuit Judge Sanders Sauls has rejected Gore's call for yet another vote recount, Boies said, "The decisive battle is now before the [Florida] Supreme Court.
"They won. We lost. We are appealing. This will be resolved by the Florida Supreme Court, and I think that will be the end of the battle."
Boies filed an appeal Monday of Sauls' ruling to the District Court of Appeals with a request that it be certified as a matter of urgency to the Florida Supreme Court.
"The ballots were the best evidence, and unfortunately, this ruling comes without the judge having looked at a single ballot," Boies said.
But Bush attorney Ben Ginsberg said, "We're obviously most gratified by the judge's clear and convincing decision. ... We think the facts and the law triumphed here today, and we are very pleased with the outcome."
