U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth, from Illinois, is telling Wisconsin Democrats she and Sen. Tammy Baldwin are working together to fight President Donald Trump.
Duckworth spoke Friday at the Wisconsin Democratic Party convention.
Duckworth says "there is a real energy brewing" to stop the Republican health care bill that passed the Republican-controlled House. She says the country should be advocating for health care, funding education and helping veterans.
Duckworth was the keynote speaker at the Wisconsin Democratic convention, speaking after Baldwin and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
She and other speakers all railed against Trump and urged Democrats to stay focused and energized to win elections next year.
