A multimillionaire investor and leading Republican donor is exploring a run against incumbent Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, The Boston Globe reports.
John Kingston III has been "meeting with the state’s top Republicans, including political aides to Governor Charlie Baker, state party leaders, and major GOP donors" as he considers the possibility, according to the newspaper.
"I think he is moving down the path in doing it," a senior Massachusetts GOP leader told The Globe.
Kingston, 51, is the founder and president of the non-profit Better for America, a non-partisan, presidential ballot access program.
