President Donald Trump took a Monday morning slap at the media, accusing "fake news" journalists of only covering negative news and ignoring stories that compliment his leadership.
"Do you notice the Fake News Mainstream Media never likes covering the great and record setting economic news, but rather talks about anything negative or that can be turned into the negative," Trump wrote in a tweet.
"The Russian Collusion Hoax is dead, except as it pertains to the Dems. Public gets it!"
In a second message on Twitter five minutes later:
Trump's blasts at The Fourth Estate came minutes before the Dow Industrials hit 26,000 and S&P 500 Index surpassed 2,800 — both for the first time.
