Trump Calls on Senate to Stay in Session

President Donald Trump said Thursday that the Senate must stay in session until the entire executive calendar is cleared.

"The Senate must stay in Session, taking no recess, until the entire Executive Calendar is CLEAR!!!" Trump said on Truth Social.

There are over 130 nominees awaiting action, with some estimates suggesting a backlog of closer to 150 civilian nominees and around 50 judicial nominees.
