President Donald Trump wants his healthcare bill passed and soon.
The president took to Twitter on Wednesday with a message for Senate Republicans — pass healthcare bill "quickly."
The reality is that Senate Republicans are not going to pass the American Health Care Act that was approved by the House.
Upper house Republicans, stumped by the major issues surrounding healthcare — lowering premiums but also providing insurance for people with preexisting conditions — expect to have a draft to look at when they return June 5 from their Memorial Day recess.
But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has refused to give timelines or be beholden to deadlines — August recess, for example.
"Time is not on our side," Sen. John McCain said last week.
