President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to offer "prayers for all involved" in a Navy plane crash in the western Pacific Ocean.

Eight people were rescued and three remained missing after a U.S. Navy C-2 "Greyhound" transport aircraft crashed into the western Pacific Ocean Wednesday.

The eight were taken to the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier for medical evaluation and are in good condition, the Navy reported.

U.S. and Japanese ships and aircraft are searching for the missing three personnel, the 7th Fleet reported in a tweet.
