President Donald Trump early Thursday morning praised Fox News' Gregg Jarrett for his best-seller about the investigation into Russia and the president, calling the book the "real story" about the "witch hunt" being waged against him.
The book by Jarrett, a legal and political analyst for Fox News, was released on July 24.
According to an Amazon description, "'The Russia Hoax' reveals how persons within the FBI and Barack Obama’s Justice Department worked improperly to help elect Hillary Clinton and defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. When this suspected effort failed, those same people appear to have pursued a contrived investigation of President Trump in an attempt to undo the election results and remove him as president."
Amazon's charts currently have Jarrett's book as No. 1 in the most-sold list under nonfiction, and as the 16th most-read. Readers have given the book a five-star rating.
Trump's tweet praising Jarrett's book comes after he said on Twitter Wednesday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation into Russian meddling.
