President Donald Trump said he's nominating former pharmaceutical industry executive and George W. Bush administration official Alex Azar as Health and Human Services secretary.
Trump made the announcement on Twitter early Monday, vowoing that his nominee would "be a star for betterr healtcare and lower drug prices."
Azar would replace Tom Price, who resigned in September after reports that he spent more than $1 million in taxpayer money on private and government planes for travel.
