Susan Rice, who served as President Barack Obama's national security adviser, will not be testifying about whether she "unmasked" members of then-candidate Donald Trump's team's associations with Russians, Fox News reported.
Rice had been slated to testify before in a closed-door session before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence to answer questions about any role she played in having the names of Trump associates unredacted from intelligence reports on Russian attempts to meddle in the 2016 election.
The committee is conducting one of several investigations into collusion, and Rice was to testify about whether she had any role in names being leaked to the public.
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio told Fox News he wants Rice to answer the question: "Did you unmask the names, and, if so, why?"
Rice has denied any role in unmasking the names, blaming the allegations against her are impacted by racism and sexism.
