Former national security adviser Susan Rice will testify this week before a House committee, where she'll likely face difficult questions about "unmasking" President Donald Trump's associates.
On Tuesday, Rice will testify in a closed-door meeting of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which is conducting its own investigation into allegations of Russian election interference.
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said last week on Fox News that he wants to ask Rice, "Did you unmask the names and if so why?"
He added that "The American people want to get the truth" about unmasking in the Obama administration and on her comment that Rice claimed the 2012 attack in Benghazi was "sparked" by an anti-Muslim video.
"Let's remember the American people want to get the truth on all these issues … on what Susan Rice may or may not have done," he said. "We know what James Comey did because he testified to it, and we know he leaked a memo through a friend to The New York Times with the stated objective of getting momentum to get a special counsel."
Jordan added, "So I think all this needs to be looked at so the American public can get the truth."
