White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Wednesday said he's still looking into information surrounding the House Intelligence chairman's visit last week.

Specifically, who from the White House signed in Devin Nunes? Who did Nunes meet with while surveying classified information on the grounds of the White House?

Spicer on Monday told reporters that he would find out that information, which, according to reporters, usually requires a quick phone call.

On Wednesday, Spicer said he still didn't have any answers.

"I asked preliminary questions; I've not gotten answers yet," Spicer told reporters. "There seems to be this fascination with the process. … In this case, the fascination is with, 'what door did he come in? who do he meet with? how did he get waved in?' as opposed to what I think it should be — what is the substance?"

Asked if he would live up to his "obligation" to get those answers, Spicer said he would.

"The obligation is that I said I would look into it and I will continue to do that," Spicer said.
