Less than 1 in 4 people surveyed approve of Senate Republicans' last-ditch healthcare legislation to replace Obamacare, according to the latest poll by left-leaning Public Policy Polling.
The survey found just 24 percent approve and 50 percent disapprove of Graham-Cassidy, so called after Sens. Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy, the primary co-sponsors of the bill.
Also, 42 percent said they approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing, with 54 who disapprove.
Other results from the survey of registered voters, according to PPP:
- 27 percent are unsure about Graham-Cassidy.
- 46 percent said they'd be less likely to vote for their lawmaker who voted for the bill.
- 54 percent said they approve of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.
- 63 percent said Congress should keep Obamacare and fix what doesn't work.
- 32 percent said Congress should repeal Obamacare and start over.
- 51 percent think pre-existing conditions would be scaled back under Graham-Cassidy.
Public Policy Polling surveyed just 638 people, 47 percent of whom said they voted for Hillary Clinton; 43 percent said they voted for Trump.
Of those surveyed, 42 percent were Democrat, 33 percent Republican, and 25 percent Independent.
