The Republican National Committee has earmarked $10 million for a series of legal challenges to keep Democrat Joe Biden from being officially declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Fox News reports.

''For every illegal ballot that is counted, the integrity of every legal vote is compromised,'' RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox News. ''The RNC is fighting to ensure that all legal ballots are properly counted to preserve the integrity of our electoral process and democratic institutions.''

An alleged RNC official added that the organization is examining ''thousands of allegations of voter fraud and working to bring them to light.''

President Donald Trump’s campaign has filed several lawsuits in multiple states challenging the legitimacy of various ballots, but so far has been unsuccessful in scoring any major victories. A judge in Pennsylvania sided with the campaign on a small number of ballots, but its other suits in the state remain in progress. The campaign withdrew its complaint in Arizona after determining that Biden’s lead was insurmountable.
