Don't hold your breath over who will moderators will at the upcoming TV debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton — because organizers say they won't know until the end of August "at the earliest."
The Hill reports the Commission on Presidential Debates, which produces the political slugfests, appears to be in no hurry to name the media personalities who'll lob questions at the Republican and Democratic nominees, even though the first is just over a month away.
Still, several well-known faces are believed to be strong possibilities.
They include: John Dickerson of CBS News, Lester Holt of NBC News, Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly of Fox News, Martha Raddatz and Jonathan Karl of ABC News, and Jake Tapper and Dana Bash of CNN.
The first presidential debate is set to be held Sept. 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., a leafy suburb of New York City. The others will be Oct. 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.; Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.; and Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
