President Donald Trump's approval ratings slid four percentage points from one month ago, according to a new Fox Poll released Wednesday.
Thirty-eight percent of registered voters polled said they approve of the job the president is doing compared to 42 percent in late September. Fifty-seven percent say they disapprove, compared to 53 percent one month ago.
Forty-nine percent of voters said they disapprove of the way Trump is handling the economy compared to 44 percent who say they approve. On taxes, 51 percent say they disapprove, while 37 percent said they approve.
Trump has been pushing for congressional Republicans to pass a comprehensive tax reform plan by the end of this year, and GOP leaders have confidence they can deliver.
On North Korea, 59 percent of voters said they disapprove of the way the president is handling the issue, with just 35 percent saying they approve. Trump also got disapproval marks on healthcare (60 percent disapproval) and Iran (55 percent).
The poll was conducted Oct. 22-24 among a random national sample of 1,005 registered voters.
