House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., transferred another $1.5 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee in July, according to the Washington Examiner.

With that amount, Ryan has brought in more than $27 million for the Republican campaign committee through July 31. The committee raised $60 million through June 30, and Ryan brought in $33 million of that total, according to figures provided to the Examiner by the speaker's political team.

"Paul Ryan is driven by a commitment to help House Republicans succeed on both the policy and political fronts," said Zack Roday, a spokesman for the speaker's political operation.

Ryan has scored big in the fundraising arena, making $23.3 million in direct transfers to the Republican committee. An additional $3.9 million has come in from mail and email fundraising requests signed by Ryan, according to the Examiner.

He headlined fundraisers for 32 House Republicans that pulled in a combined amount of $3.9 million.

The speaker also has sent money back home, donating more than $1 million to Wisconsin Republicans in 2016. His congressional campaign and leadership PAC have donated to Wisconsin House Republicans, as well.

"In Wisconsin, Speaker Ryan is simply known as Paul — a family guy who cares about his community and works hard to solve big problems," Roday said.

On Monday night, CNN will broadcast Ryan hosting his first public town hall in two years, according to The Hill.
