The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) raised nearly $1 million more in January than its left-leaning counterpart, the organization announced Tuesday.
The NRCC took in $10.1 million last month, compared to the $9.3 million the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) raised.
"With the advent of tax reform, Republicans are on offense as we start 2018," NRCC communications director Matt Gorman said.
"We have the right message, the right candidates, and the right amount of resources to continue The Great American Comeback for the American people and keep the House in November."
The House GOP's haul come after the DCC outraised the NRCC last year, $105.5 million to $85 million. Both figures were new records for each party. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helped her party take in just under $50 million of that total.
