UK Bookmakers Improve Odds on Trump Winning Nobel Prize

Two bookmakers in the United Kingdom improved the betting odds President Donald Trump would win a Nobel Peace Prize after his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Ladbrokes increased Trump's chance of winning the prize either alone or jointly from 10 to 1 odds to 6 to 4 odds, the bookmaker reported.

William Hill set odds at 7 to 4 that Trump would win the prize in either 2018 or 2019, the bookmaker said in a tweet.

Ladbrokes also put the odds of Trump winning a second term as president at 6 to 4, the bookmaker wrote.

Trump and Kim concluded a summit Tuesday with both expressing optimism throughout about five hours of talks.
