House Republicans' plan to replace Obamacare is a "very, very bad, very bad plan," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday.
"Just when you've seen it all, the Republicans go to a more extreme place… it will be the biggest transfer of wealth from low-middle income people to wealthy people in this country," the California Democrat told "CBS This Morning."
She also blasted President Donald Trump's claims that former President Barack Obama had him wiretapped, noting that a president does not have the power to order such a wiretap, because it has to go through the Justice Department.
"The president doesn't know what he's talking about. The president can't do that. Maybe he's projecting, because that's something he'd like to do," Pelosi said.
Democrats say the healthcare bill will leave many uninsured, shifting costs for care to states and leaving individual policy holders with plans that have low premiums, but will face high deductibles and copays.
