Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., concedes he is finally warming up to tweets from President Donald Trump, according to CNN.

"Regarding the President's tweeting habits, I haven't been a fan until this week," McConnell said Friday. "I'm warming up to the tweets."

CNN noted Trump had regularly tweeted criticism of McConnell and Senate Republicans during the summer after unsuccessful efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare.

But now with tax reform legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by Trump, McConnell said he and the president have a "good working relationship."

The Washington Examiner reported McConnell said he expected Republicans and the White House to be in agreement on a legislative agenda for next year.
