President Donald Trump benefited from a 12-vote swing in an audit of Michigan’s Antrim County election results on Thursday.

Located in northern Michigan, Antrim County results showed President Trump gained 11 votes, while Joe Biden lost one vote after the examination amid allegations of voter fraud.

"This is very typical of what we find in a hand-count of ballots," Michigan Department of State's Lori Bourbonais told The Detroit News. "It is normal to find one or two votes in a precinct that differ between a hand tally and machine count."

Joe Biden's vote total in the county decreased from 5,960 to 5,959, while President Trump's increased from 9,748 to 9,759, according to preliminary results from the county's more than seven-hour audit.

Reportedly a Republican area, Antrim County earned attention in the early hours of Nov. 4 when results showed Biden ahead by a few thousand votes. It was later determined totals were off due to a clerical error in not updating software drives of some machines. Once software was updated, President Trump prevailed in the county.

There was a concern voting machines in the county were dramatically flipping votes from Trump to Biden. Local officials claimed a clerical error in not updating software drives of some machines caused an issue that later was corrected

President-elect Biden won Michigan by more than 154,000 votes on Nov. 3, according to certified results.

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced a zero-margin risk-limiting audit of the presidential election in Antrim County earlier this month. The audit included a hand tally of every ballot to compare against the tally of machine-tabulated results.

The 12-vote change amounted to about a .07 percent change from certified results, Benson said in a social media post Thursday.
