Claiming President Donald Trump would be fired as CEO from any "major publicly-held company" for his conduct, a relentless critic and husband of White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway continued his campaign for President Trump's resignation Sunday morning.
George Conway tweeted Sunday, responding the President Trump's mea culpa for having to "hit back" at his political critics:
"You're not 'presidential' at all, period. You're mentally unwell. You engage in bizarre, irrational, self-defeating behavior, which prompts criticism of you, which triggers more bizarre, irrational, self-defeating behavior. You would have been fired from any other job by now."
Conway continued:
"Do yourself and the country a favor. Resign and seek the psychological treatment you so obviously need."
Conway concluded:
"And if anyone has any doubt about the question, ask yourself this: If, say, a CEO of a major publicly-held company engaged in conduct remotely similar to what we've seen of Donald J. Trump over the past 2-1/2 years, what would happen? How long would she or he last in the job?"
President Trump has mostly ignored the repeated slams from George Conway – who President Trump has claimed to lobby (unsuccessfully) for a judicial appointment – but the president has ridiculed him as Mr. Kellyanne Conway, which slams him as a mere husband of his influential White House adviser.
