Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., on Friday told President Donald Trump to admit his "guilt" to help his "deteriorating mental health" after Mike Flynn's guilty plea.
On Friday, Flynn, formerly Trump's national security adviser, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his communications with the Russian ambassador last year, according to The New York Times. He is the first senior White House official, current or former, to agree to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Flynn will reportedly testify that Trump directed him to make contact with Russians.
Waters also reminded her followers that former acting Attorney General Sally Yates testified months ago that she warned the White House that Flynn had been "compromised" by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
She also called back the chants about Hillary Clinton that were popular at Trump rallies during the campaign.
