Maxine Waters Calls For AG Sessions to Be Fired

A leading Democrat said Wednesday Attorney General Jeff Sessions should be fired because of the Russia investigation.

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., posted this on her Twitter account:

We can't go a day w/o learning a new lie re: Trump's team & Russia. Sessions should be fired. He has no business leading DOJ. Get him out!

Waters rips President Donald Trump on a regular basis, often on the subject of the allegations that he or his campaign may have colluded with Russia. She admitted last week, however, that there is no "actual evidence" of any such collusion.

Later in the week she said she's "putting her congressional "career on the line" by being outspoken against the president.
