President Donald Trump on Monday ripped into Sen. Mark Warner's, D-Va., joke he had inside information on special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.
Warner, the ranking member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, on Friday reportedly joked to donors at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's (DSCC) annual Majority Trust retreat on Martha's Vineyard that he might reveal sensitive information known only to him and Mueller.
"If you get me one more glass of wine, I'll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know," he said, according to Politico. "If you think you've seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It's going to be a wild couple of months."
Warner in late May said there was an enormous amount of pressure on the intelligence committee regarding the probe, and Americans would tire of it if it was not finished by the end of the year.
