Rubio Defends First Lady After 'Vicious Treatment' From Critics

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., came to the defense of first lady Melania Trump, who wore a controversial jacket when leaving to visit a border detention facility where children separated from their parents were being held.

She was photographed in a green jacket with large white letters that read: 'I REALLY DON'T CARE DO U?" as she traveled to visit the facility in Texas.

In a tweet, Rubio blasted those mocking Trump and said she was receiving "vicious treatment" from her critics.

I know for a FACT that @FLOTUS has been a strong voice of compassion for migrant children. The vicious treatment of her over the last day is a reminder of how Trump Derangement Syndrome,where hatred for him justifies everything,has become an epidemic. Totally lunacy everywhere!!!
