Lindsey Graham on Kudlow: 'A Home-Run Choice'

Sen. Lindsey Graham on Wednesday called President Donald Trump's selection of Larry Kudlow as top economic adviser "a home-run choice."

"I'm very pleased to hear that President Trump has chosen Larry Kudlow to be his new National Economic Council adviser," the South Carolina Republican said in a statement.

"This is a home-run choice, as Larry has been one of the strongest and most consistent voices for pro-growth economic policies.

"He understands that for Americans to prosper, the economy has to grow."

Graham, a member of the Senate Budget Committee, said that Kudlow would be a "steady hand in helping implement President Trump’s pro-growth agenda and will provide insightful advice backed by a deep understanding of how the American economy works.

"Larry Kudlow will serve President Trump well in this new role."
