Obamacare repeal bill co-sponsor Sen. Lindsey Graham tweeted Friday he "respectfully" disagrees with the decision of longtime friend, Sen. John McCain, to vote "no" on the latest GOP healthcare legislation.
The South Carolina Republican said McCain's position doesn't affect their friendship, and that he'll "press on" with the legislation that proposes giving block grants to states to use for healthcare.
The Arizona Republican cast the "no" vote last July that sank the last Republican effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
In a series of tweets, Graham argued his bill, which he's co-sponsoring with GOP Sens. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Dean Heller of Nevada, is Republicans' "best chance to repeal and replace Obamacare."
"Taking money/power out of Washington & returning it to states to administer [healthcare] is the best way to replace a collapsing Obamacare system," he added.
