President-elect Joe Biden and his administration, in their first 100 days, will usher in the most "aggressive," socialized agenda in U.S. history, but it will also ultimately lead to victory for Republicans in future elections, Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday.

"I'm really worried he's going to stand up to the radical left on anything," the South Carolina Republican, who has become a close ally of President Donald Trump's over the past four years, said on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Features With Maria Bartiromo." "I think we are going to have in the first hundred days by the Biden administration the most aggressive socialized policy effort in the history of the country."

However, if the administration does what it is talking about doing, Graham predicted, "Republicans will come roaring back in 2022, we will take back the House, we will take back the Senate and, just in a few months, President (Donald) Trump will be looked at far differently than he is today."

Graham also on Sunday called President-elect Joe Biden's call for a $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package, coming on the heels of a just-passed $900 billion package, a "problem."

"President Trump was right about a $2,000 stimulus check to the middle class and lower-middle-class families who are struggling out there," said Graham. "I will support that. I'm not going to bail out blue states that mismanaged their state governments and budgets under the name of the coronavirus."

Graham said he plans to attend Biden's inauguration Wednesday, as he thinks "it's important that I show up," but he still argued during the interview about the push to impeach Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6 riots at the capitol.

"To my Republican colleagues," he said, "please do not justify and legitimize what the House did and stand up for the Constitution like we did on January 6," Graham said, urging Biden to stop the impeachment process.

"If you do not stand up against the impeachment of President Trump after he leaves office, you're an incredibly weak figure," Graham said, addressing his comments to Biden.
