Conservative commentator Laura Ingraham said Tuesday that Republicans cannot pass healthcare legislation without Democrats.

Over the past two days Republican Sens. Jerry Moran of Kansas, Mike Lee of Utah, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Susan Collins of Maine announced that they do not support the current draft of the GOP plan to replace Obamacare, leaving the party with few options.

"We will now try a different way to bring the American people relief for Obamacare," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said on the Senate floor Tuesday, according to CNN. "I believe we owe them at least that much. In the coming days, the Senate will take up and vote on a repeal of Obamacare combined with a stable two-year transition period as we work toward patient-centered healthcare."

President Donald Trump addressed the seeming collapse of the bill on Tuesday, tweeting that Democrats and "a few Republicans" are to blame.
