The Senate Banking Committee is no longer planning to hold a confirmation hearing for Kevin Warsh, President Donald Trump's pick to run the Federal Reserve, next week, Punchbowl News reported Thursday, citing two sources familiar with planning.
The committee did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump nominated Warsh for the role on Jan. 30.
The term of the current Fed chair, Jerome Powell, ends May 15.
