Former President Obama's speechwriter Jon Favreau openly mocked President Trump's inauguration address.

Favreau sent out two tweets shortly after Trump delivered his address:

In his speech, Trump said: "We are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people. Washington flourished but the people did not share its wealth."

And he added: "The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs."
