Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, is expected to meet with staff members of the Senate Intelligence Committee sometime this month, according to a new report.

NBC News reported Kushner will provide documents and also be questioned by members of the committee, who also questioned former FBI director James Comey on Thursday.

The committee is one of several entities investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Kushner came under fire recently after he reportedly asked Russian officials if they were interested in setting up a back channel to serve as a line of communication between Trump's team and the Kremlin. Subsequent reports have detailed other meetings he had with Russians before Trump took office.

The Senate Intelligence Committee now wants to hear what Kushner knows.
