A transcript obtained by a CBS News producer shows that the contentious debate between White House aide Stephen Miller and CNN host Jake Tapper continued off-air.

"Jake, what I care about is having three minutes to tell the truth about the president of the United States," Miller told Tapper after their heated on-air segment about the Trump-trashing new book alleging, among other things, that the president is mentally unfit.

"You had plenty of time. I let you give like a three-minute filibuster at the very top," Tapper retorts.

"You should be ashamed of yourself," Miller tells Tapper.

"This is the reason they don't put you on TV," Tapper counters.

CNN reportedly eventually called in security to escort Miller from the studio after he initially refused to leave.
