Former White House Communications Director Hope Hicks was seen boarding Air Force One on Saturday ahead of President Donald Trump’s departure for a rally in Ohio.
The sighting came in a White House press pool report and was noted by various news outlets.
According to the report, Hicks was spotted among those who boarded the presidential jet in Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, The Hill noted. It was not clear why she was on the plane or whether she met with Trump, according to the website.
The airport is near the Trump Bedminster resort, where the president has been staying, according to CNN.
Hicks resigned on Feb. 28 after she was interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller’s team. News also broke that she had been dating Rob Porter, the one-time staff secretary who had been accused of domestic abuse by his two ex-wives, the Business Insider had reported.
